Great Blend Sponsors...
Karajoz Coffee Company
Since it percolated into existence in 2004, the Karajoz Great Blend has been proudly sponsored by Karajoz Coffee Company. Most famous for his DKD café days, Karajoz founder and owner Derek Townsend saw an opportunity to work alongside Public Address to deliver this one-of-a-kind event. Frank and lively political and social debate – once abundant in café society – has in recent years found a new home online in weblogs. Now this type of contemporary discussion returns to the live forum that is The Karajoz Great Blend: Public Address Live.
Hatton Estate
Hatton Estate is a small independent winery located in the Hawke's Bay. As a highly regarded yet still community-minded wine producer, we are continually being requested to donate product to important events such as gallery openings and forums. The Karajoz Great Blend is an event with a conscience, and reflects the values of support and encouragement that Hatton Estate stands for. Those who attend the Karajoz Great Blend are also generally those who like to patronise the restaurants we supply. The Karajoz Great Blend is an exciting way to showcase our wine, and Hatton Estate is proud to support such an important event.
Monteith's Brewing Company
Monteith's Brewing Company has been crafting its family of fine beers on the West Coast for more than 150 years. Over this time our philosophy has always stayed the same — to discover the world's great beer styles and bring them home to New Zealand. We're proud of every beer we make, as each and every one is a classic and here at Monteith's we especially enjoy sharing our great beer with others when they have the time to sip and savor our brew. The Karajoz Great Blend certainly provides this occasion, with frank and lively debate and live music, designed to inform, stimulate and entertain. What better way to enjoy this event than with a cool Monteith's crafted brew, followed by a piping hot coffee.
British Council
British Council is the UK's agency for international cultural relations. In New Zealand our work focuses on connecting New Zealanders with the best of contemporary UK culture, through a range of events, ideas and opportunities.
TVNZ
TVNZ Emerging Business was established to help deliver TVNZ's vision to create compelling content online as well as on TV. Already the TVNZ emerging business team has launching the tvnz on demand service in December 2006 and followed this up with video content partnerships with other online media players such as Fairfax Media and YouTube.
These are exciting times in the video content world and TVNZ can think of no better forum to debate and discuss our future plans than the Karajoz Great Blend. We look forward to an evening of frank and lively debate which will inform, stimulate and entertain.
